the location is very convenient for exploring. the metro station is just outside the door. the staff were polite and professional (i appreciate their helpfulness).
the shower did not drain properly in my first room. the tv also did not work. i eventually changed rooms, but the tv still didn't work there. the manager offered a refund for one night, but i did not receive it.

The proximity to key attractions was a huge plus. i particularly appreciated the free water bottles on each floor. It was a lifesaver after long days. the coffee machine in the lounge offered a great variety. I loved getting a latte whenever i wanted (it seemed like a special treat!).

I appreciated the hotel's proximity to the White House and the National Mall. I walked there easily. Having water bottle filling stations on each floor was also a plus. Melissa upgraded my room to a spacious suite. I appreciated her helpfulness and courteous service.
I did notice significant noise early in the morning. Loud doors and police sirens woke me. I hope the hotel addresses this issue.

My room included a comfortable bed and a functional workspace. An iron and a desk were particularly useful for my working trip. I also liked the coffee machine. The room provided standard hotel soundproofing. I was not disturbed by excessive noise.
